Tenerife Part 5
Last day in sunny Tenerife and last day before my diet is reinstalled. After checking out at noon we went for a last dip and had some sunny cocktails before heading over to the airport. At 4AM the next day I climbed back in bed after a snowy drive home. Home sweet home.

Tenerife Part 4
On the fourth day we went to Siam Park for some water park adventures. The Christmas songs were blasting trough the speakers while everyone was having an amazing time in the sun. We had Champagne next to the infinity pool while watching the sun go down and had the most delicious meal at the fancy restaurant of the hotel.

Tenerife Part 3
On the third day we drove up the volcano and saw a humbling landscape that made me feel like I was visiting another planet. The air was so thin as we were above the clouds and on our way down we saw the North side of the island and had a sea platter with an oceanic view. In the evening we went to a rock café at the Playa de las Américas where a life band was playing.

Shopping
I got some shopping delivered. It's still in plastic bags in the picture but I'm returning nothing so everything will be revealed soon in my outfit posts.
I got one pair of black suede over the knee boots by Esprit, two pieces of swimwear and some lingerie. Also a black fake leather jacket (My last one was worn out) and a navy blue dress by Kiomi.

Movies November 2018
Last month I saw 35 movies and I finished watching 4 series.
11 of them I had already seen, why do I do this? Maybe out of comfort or nostalgia, or because I know beforehand how much I'll like them. 'Monty Python and The Holy Grail' and the 'Matrix' movies are absolute classics, but 'the Parent Trap' and 'My Best Friend's Wedding' are ethically questionable movies when you re-watch them.
There where several movies I build up too high in my mind and were a sad letdown. 'A star is born', 'Incrdibles 2' and 'The crimes of Grindelwald' were overall very good movies but I was hoping they'd be the best movies I saw all year and they didn't even make my top three this month.
While 'The ballad of Buster Scruggs', 'On Chesil beach' and 'Eight grade' were movies I would recommend any film lover to go and see.
My top three:
3) 'McQueen': The documentary on Lee Alexander McQueen shows you a glimp of the tormented brilliant British fashion designers life and work. It's inspiring and sad at the same time.
2) 'Snatch': This is a movie I already saw several times. I had forgotten how much I love it. It's clever, raw, funny and masterfully made.
1)'Bohemian Rhapsody': I had goosebumps from start to finish and I cried at the end. Rami Malek carries this movie and delivers a masterfully performance. If you love the music, go see it in a theater, it's an experience you don't want to miss out on.
I watched the first series of 'Sick note' in one sitting. It's uncomfortable at times because there is a lot of sneaking around almost getting caught. But I like Rupert Grint's acting style and Nick Frost is brilliant as the layabout doctor who misdiagnosed the young Grint with cancer and has to constantly cover-up mistakes while they both try to make the false diagnose stick.
'Silent witness series 19' is a police series. I've always liked the name because it's so appropriate, as we follow coroners who solve murders by examining the victims. As the series progress, I feel they get more and more involved with the investigative police side of things as they go and question suspects, they put themselves in more danger.
The second series of 'Broadchurch' is as captivating as the first. I find it so refreshing how the main characters are so broken and yet find their fighting spirit. No romance needed, just trying to get trough this case while maintaining their sanity.
'American Gothic' is about a rich family that tries not to turn on themselves when one of them might be a serial killer. Dark family secrets surface while the plottwist keep you guessing until the end. They used a lot of dual focus, like in 'Jaws', which sets a certain style throughout the series.
