Shopping

 I went shopping at Primark and mainly bought Harry Potter merch: 8 Christmas ornaments and a piggy bank in the shape of a chocolate frog tin. I also bought a running sweater, two sets of fake nails, a gold coloured Libra necklace and two pairs of earrings (one in the shape of snowflakes and one with a tortoise shell finish).  I got tortoise shell sunglasses, body mist from Alice in Wonderland, tartan wrapping paper and hipster underwear as well. And for my next vacation by plane I got myself a tiny lock and key and also some small containers for shampoo and lotions to take with me in my hand luggage. Finally I picked up a berry spice scented candle at the check-out that luckily turned out smelling amazing.  

Movies October 2018

Last month I saw 20 movies and 2 series from start to finish (not in one sitting mind you) . To be honest, it was the least productive month I had sinds the beginning of the year. And by least productive, I mean on the movie watching front. I easily watch several movies a day and still find time for work and do my regular chores.

I have watched a lot of feel good movies in October. Nine of which I had already seen before. 'Stardust' and 'Ever After: A Cinderella Story' are two of my all time favorites. 'What woman want' and 'the Mexican' were two movies I didn't think would still make me as cheerful as they did. 

But then, I saw some rubbish ones as well: 'Falling for you', 'Time trap', 'The sweetest heart' and 'the return of Xander Cage' are movies anyone should stay far away from, they don't add up and end leaving you hollow and disappointed.

 I'm giving a shout out to the brilliant Tom Hardy for crushing 'Venom' before announcing my top three:

3) 'Hurricane' with Iwan Rheon (I still see him as 'Simon' from the 'Misfits' whom I love) was an impressive untold story about Polish pilots fighting for the Brits in the second World War.

2) 'Ex_machina' was an intriguing movie about artificial intelligence that kept me guessing. 

1) 'On body and Soul' is a weird, beautiful, artsy Hungarian movie that was nominated for best foreign language film at the Oscars last year. The movie is powerful, pure and clean but you need to be in the mood for subtitles.  

The series I watched last month were 'Doctor who s09' and 'united shades of America'

The first one is a famous time traveling British sci-fi which I'm re-watching to prep me for the 13th doctor. 'United shades of America' was an informative yet funny documentary about Americans.   

Wish List

After seeing 'Ocean's 8' and 'A simple favor' I'm convinced I need a tailored suit for the holidays. It's definitely on my wishlist. I just need to make sure I look as awesome as Blake or Cate, chances are I won't pull it off but I'm dying to find out.  

Red & Purple

The quality of this DVF dress is unmatched and it fits like a glove. I loved colour blocking it with a red blazer.

Sparkling Brown

With December approaching the holiday season is upon us and I will take any excuse to dress more festive.

Blue Painting

It must be over two years since I last wore this skirt. It didn't fit anymore but today I got to wear it once again. It's an artsy pattern from Andrea Gayle which I combined with black and blue.

Leather & Leopard

It's a bit risky to combine leather coated pants and leopard pumps but I think I got away with it due to my olive green cable sweater which softens up the outfit.

Red & Pink

First outfit post of the new blog, how exciting. I combined my super cozy powder pink wool sweater with my red pants and topped it off with brown cognac accessories.

2017

I must say, I didn't realise how little outfit posts I did in 2017. I gained some weight and didn't fit in most of my clothes. I needed to turn it around, change my mood and start focusing on myself again, which I did the next year.

This post is dedicated to my favorite outfits of the year 2013. I posted more pictures than the previous year, which made it harder to pic my favorites, but I managed to get it down to 16 outfits.

2012

 In 2012 I started blogging about cakes and fashion. Now, almost 7 years later I decided to blow new life into my blog. The main focus will still be outfit posts but with a side of movie reviews. I'm baking way less than I used to, but if I make something it will surely be featured on the blog. 

Here are some of my favorite outfits from the first year. Be sure to keep posted, because I'll post a yearly recap until we're back at present day. Never been one to dismiss the past. I'm excited what the future will hold but it's so much fun browsing trough my bloggers past.
